NEW YORK--(Business Wire)--
Mark S. Howitson, deputy general counsel of Facebook, will deliver the day two
keynote address at ALM`s upcoming LegalTech New York 2010, the nation`s largest
and most prestigious legal technology conference and trade show. LegalTech New
York will take place February 1-3 at the Hilton Hotel in New York City. Complete

Howitson`s presentation will include discussion of how Facebook, Twitter and
other social media have begun to replace traditional news outlets as viable
sources of information and the impact of this trend on e-discovery. He will

the e-discovery process and the data involved; how to measure e-discovery costs,
trends and efficiencies; and cloud computing benefits and shortfalls.

A bachelor`s degree graduate of University of the Pacific, Howitson attended law
school at Santa Clara University, graduating cum laude in 1997. After working at
Hoge, Fenton, Jones and Appel, Inc.; Gunderson Dettmer; and Orrick, Herrington
and Sutcliffe, LLP, he joined Facebook in 2007, where he is responsible for
worldwide litigation, labor and employment and the company`s patent portfolio.
