WASHINGTON Nov 6 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama's administration is looking to move forward in the coming weeks, not months, on several options to boost job creation, a senior White House official said on Friday.

Obama earlier listed the ideas under discussion, citing additional investments in roads and bridges, incentives to encourage families and businesses to make buildings more energy efficient, new tax cuts for businesses to create jobs, extra steps to increase the flow of credit to small businesses and efforts to promote U.S. exports.
