WASHINGTON Nov 6 (Reuters) - President Barack Obama will make a statement on Friday on the U.S. unemployment rate, which breached the politically sensitive double-digit barrier in October.

The White House said Obama would speak in the White House Rose Garden at 1130 EST (1630 GMT).
