DETROIT (Reuters) - Detroit Pistons forward Tayshaun Prince will be out of the line-up indefinitely because of a small rupture of a disc in his lower back, the team said on Saturday.

Prince's injury was confirmed following an exam and evaluation by team doctors, the Pistons said on their website (www.nba.com/pistons).

The 6-foot-9 forward has appeared in three games averaging 12.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
