UPDATE 1-Day4 Energy posts wider Q3 loss

* Q3 loss C$0.12/shr vs yr-ago loss C$0.05/shr

* Revenue down 58 pct to C$13.3 mln

Nov 9 (Reuters) - Canadian solar module maker Day4 Energy Inc (DFE.TO) reported a wider third-quarter loss hurt by lower demand.

For the quarter ended Sept.30, the company posted a loss of C$4.2 million ($3.95 million), or 12 Canadian cents a share, compared with a loss of C$1.7 million, or 5 Canadian cents a share, last year.

Quarterly revenue fell 58 percent to C$13.3 million. Analysts on average expected loss of 13 cents on revenue of C$6.97 million, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
