NASDAQ Changes Trading Halt Status of South Texas Oil Company

NEW YORK, Nov. 9, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The NASDAQ Stock Market(R)
(Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today that the trading halt status in South Texas Oil
Company (Nasdaq:STXX) was changed to "additional information requested" from the
company. Trading in the company's stock had been halted on Friday, November 6,
2009 at 7:00:02 a.m. Eastern Time for "news pending" at a last sale price of
$0.22. Trading will remain halted until South Texas Oil Company has fully
satisfied NASDAQ's request for additional information.
