UMBMX Ranked in the Top 10 Percent in Its Asset Class

Scout Investment Advisors, Inc., a subsidiary of UMB Financial Corporation
(NASDAQ: UMBF), announced today that its Scout Mid Cap Fund (UMBMX) has received
a 5-star Overall Morningstar Rating in its initial rating from Morningstar among
378 mid cap blend funds. The 5-star rating is the highest rating bestowed by
Morningstar and was announced shortly after the Scout Mid Cap Fund passed its
third year since inception.
