Melissa Carbon, MA, CCRP assumes Director position, opens California HCRAmerica
office
PRINCETON, N.J. & MUNICH, Germany--(Business Wire)--
The Harrison Clinical Research Group GmbH, a leading full-service,
scientifically and medically driven clinical research organization with offices
worldwide, is pleased to announce that Melissa Carbon has joined the company as
Director, Clinical Operations of HCRAmerica, our USA affiliate, based in its
West Coast, California office. Ms. Carbon is responsible for providing strategic
operational leadership and overseeing the management of North American and
International Phase I-IV clinical trials. Ms. Carbon excels at building
effective sponsor-CRO relationships and is a highly accomplished International
clinical trials specialist having successfully managed more than 100 clinical
trials for CNS, CV, Oncology, GI, ID and other therapeutic indications over the
past 14 years. 

Prior to joining HCRAmerica, Ms. Carbon held the position of Director of
Clinical Operations for Advanced Biomedical Research, Inc. (ABR). Ms. Carbon
worked at ABR for over 10 years under the leadership of founder, Dr. Michael S.
Willett. Melissa played a key role in managing pivotal Phase III CNS and
oncology clinical trials in adult and pediatric patient populations among her
many accomplishments at ABR. Ms. Carbon also previously helped to start up the
San Diego office of Scirex (now part of Premier Research). Ms. Carbon received
her undergraduate degree from San Diego State University and her Master of
Psychology degree from Chapman University.
