of Canada, and Mr. Jean-Daniel Lafond will welcome Their Royal Highnesses
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall at Rideau Hall, in
Ottawa, on the occasion of Their Royal Highnesses' official visit to
Canada, which will take place from November 2 to 12, 2009.
During their stay in Canada's capital region, Their Royal Highnesses will
reside at Rideau Hall.

Their Royal Highnesses will participate in the planting of an oak tree
during a ceremony on the grounds of Rideau Hall. The tradition of planting
a tree during Royal or State visits began with Earl Grey, Governor General
of Canada (1904-1911).
