TMC Development & Working Solutions Announce Winners of 2009 Annual Small Business Awards

  SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Nov 09 (MARKET WIRE) -- 
TMC Development, a leading Certified Development Company providing SBA
loans in California and Nevada, today announced the winners of its 2009
Year End Small Business Awards. The celebration, which takes place today
includes two "Community Partner" awards going to businesses that received
SBA 504 loans including: Lisa Gelfand, Gelfand Partners Architects who
received a $3.9 million loan for the purchase of 165 Tenth Street, San
Francisco and Doree Friedman, Fine Line Construction who received $2.6
million for the purchase of 943 Howard Street, San Francisco. An "Energy
Efficiency" award will be given to Mark Vignoles, Service West Inc, who
received a $10.5 million loan for the purchase of 2054-2070 Burroughs
Avenue in San Leandro. The "Community Partner Award" will be presented by
Mark Quinn, district director of the SBA in San Francisco at 6:00pm.

    The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) created the 504 loan program
in 1980 to provide financing for successful, growing, small and
medium-sized businesses. Loan proceeds can be used to purchase, renovate
or construct commercial real estate properties, or for the acquisition of
equipment that has a life expectancy of 10 years or more.

    "Thriving businesses are especially important to celebrate given the state
of the economy today," said Barbara Morrison, CEO of TMC Development.
"These businesses are providing jobs in our community. They have all taken
advantage of the current historically low SBA interest rates and 90% fixed
rate financing available for owner/user real estate projects up to $20
million."

    Service West Inc, the recipient of the "Energy Efficiency" Award, took
advantage of the SBA 504 Energy Efficiency policy that rewards increased
energy efficiency to purchase a 132,000-square-foot commercial office
building in San Leandro. The celebration and award ceremony takes place
today at Orson, 508 4th Street, San Francisco, from 4:30pm-7:30pm.

    TMC Working Solutions provides assistance to underserved
micro-entrepreneurs in the Bay Area. This year, TMC Working Solutions was
chosen to administer the City of San Francisco's $800,000 Revolving Loan
Fund. Micro-entrepreneurs from TMC Working Solutions' portfolio will hold
