Now through Thursday, December 24, 5% of the purchase price of select Saks
Fifth Avenue Collection treats and New York Candy Company sweets -- identified
by the signature green St. Jude sticker -- will be donated to St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital as part of the retailer's ongoing partnership
with one of the nation's leading pediatric research and treatment centers
devoted solely to children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases. All
items are available in Saks Fifth Avenue stores nationwide or on saks.com and
range in price from $13.50 to $55.50.

There is something for every sweets-lover among the selections from the New
York Candy Company. Items from this collection include glass jars filled with
traditional favorites such as licorice, tootsie rolls and gumdrops, as well as
bite-sized cookies big in homemade taste. Both packaging and contents evoke
nostalgia, making them perfect treats to share with family and friends during
the holidays. New York Candy Company even offers something for children with
certain candies: a stuffed plush toy animal, the perfect stocking stuffer.

The Saks Fifth Avenue Silver Box Program provides an ideal host or hostess
gift, no wrapping required. Containing Mint Meltaways made with natural mint
extract, milk chocolate turtles filled with caramel and pecans, milk or dark
chocolate covered pretzels both plain and covered with toppings, and caramel
covered popcorn mixed with chocolate pieces, they're the perfect treats to top
off a holiday feast.

Or consider visiting your local Saks or saks.com to purchase a tin featuring
an iconic image of Saks Fifth Avenue's New York store. Within are sweet and
salty treats, including fruitcake, a holiday staple. Saks Fifth Avenue's
fruitcake is a moist tapestry filled with fruits and nuts, drenched in the
warmth of the finest rum and brandy and topped with toasted pecans.

There are also tins containing caramel, cheese and butter flavored popcorn;
Florentine Lace Cookies, an exquisite candy cookie medley made with honey and
cashews that sandwich a chocolate center for a perfect combination of sweet
and crunchy texture; cool mint sticks outfitted with the finest chocolate
coating; and an addictive butter crunch, featuring caramel-coated chocolate
and almonds.

In addition to the food program, Saks Fifth Avenue will support St. Jude
through the sale of its annual limited-edition hardcover children's book. This
year's book, titled Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Flake, retails for $16.99 with $2
from every book sold going toward the 2009 Thanks and Giving® campaign.
