EagleBank Announces Promotion of Thomas D. Murphy to President of Retail Banking

BETHESDA, Md., Nov. 9, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EagleBank today announced the
promotion of Thomas D. Murphy to President of Retail Banking.

Mr. Murphy is one of the founding members of EagleBank, which was established in
1998, and has been instrumental in the Bank's growth and success. Prior to this
promotion and since June 2006, Mr. Murphy served as President-Maryland Division.
Mr. Murphy has over 35 years of experience in the commercial banking industry.
