SEOUL Nov 10 (Reuters) - South Korea's Samsung Electronics (005930.KS) said on Tuesday the company expected no impact on its sales from a ruling to halt U.S. imports of some of its liquid crystal display (LCD) devices.

The U.S. International Trade Commission ruled on Monday that Samsung, the world's biggest maker of LCD screens and LCD TVs, infringed patents of Japan's Sharp (6753.T) and should no longer sell infringing devices in the United States. [ID:nN09279907]

"We are fully committed to honor our responsibility to our business partners and are taking appropriate actions to meet the market demand for Samsung LCD panels and products without any interruption," said Samsung spokesman James Chung. (Reporting by Rhee So-eui; Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
