California sells nearly $1.9 bln of revenue bonds

SAN FRANCISCO Nov 10 (Reuters) - California Treasurer Bill Lockyer's office said on Tuesday it sold $1.895 billion of revenue bonds, with $620.474 million of the debt ordered by retail investors.

Institutional investors bought the balance of the bonds, which mature on June 15, 2013. The yield is 4.00 percent. (Reporting by Jim Christie; Editing by Dan Grebler)
