NEW YORK Nov 10 (Reuters) - Front-month U.S. crude oil futures CLc1 dropped $1 to $78.43 a barrel on Tuesday as the dollar firmed and energy companies began to restore operations following Tropical Storm Ida.

The storm faded into a tropical depression after making landfall along the Alabama coast early Tuesday. [ID:nN10304093]
