MIAMI--(Business Wire)--
The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced that Meital
Stavinsky, who serves as an Israeli Business Consultant for the firm, was among
the presenters at the Friends of the Asian-American Advisory Board`s Annual
Student Scholarship Award Ceremony. The ceremony was held in the University of
Miami`s Storer Auditorium on November 1, 2009.

Seven students of Asian descent were honored with $1,000 college scholarships at
the event. Stavinsky, who joined the Asian-American Advisory Board (AAAB)
earlier this year, presented a scholarship, donated by Greenberg Traurig, to
University of Miami student Bibi Yasmin Moghani.

The AAAB works in an advisory capacity to the Miami-Dade Board of County
Commissioners, administration, community and all agencies in the county with
respect to matters pertaining to the Asian-American community. In addition, the
board and its staff routinely assist people with their grievances and intervene
with the appropriate parties to seek a resolution. Reflecting the diverse
nationalities that comprise Greater Asia, the AAAB includes members of Afghan,
Chinese, Indian, Iranian, Israeli, Japanese and Korean descent.

"I`m proud to serve on the Asian-American Advisory Board, helping to foster
dialogue and advocate for the interests of Miami-Dade County`s truly diverse
Asian-American community," said Stavinsky. "It`s also a pleasure to support and
encourage the educational dreams of talented Asian-American students."

Stavinksy coordinates Greenberg Traurig`s Israel Practice, guiding its
development and initiatives from a business perspective. She assists Israeli
companies that are seeking to enter the U.S. market and expand their operations
in the United States, helping to match them with strategic partners, potential
joint ventures and other business-to-business connections, and also advises
companies seeking opportunities within Israel. Stavinsky is certified by the
U.S. Green Building Council as a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design
Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
