Emporiki Bank plans 1 billion euro share capital increase

ATHENS Nov 12 (Reuters) - Greece's Emporiki Bank CBGr.AT, the Greek unit of France's Credit Agricole (CAGR.PA) said on Thursday it planned to proceed with a share capital increase of up to 1 billion euros ($1.50 billion)

"At the board meeting of Nov. 11, it was decided to propose to the upcoming extraordinary shareholders' general meeting of Emporiki Bank to increase the share capital by up to 1 billion euros," the company said in a bourse filing. (Reporting by Harry Papachristou)
