IIz surround sound technology was recognized by Popular Science magazine as one
of the Top 100 innovations of the year, winning the coveted "Best of What`s New"
award in the Home Entertainment category. 

Dolby Pro Logic IIz was selected for its ability to transform home entertainment
by bringing the dimension of height to the surround sound listening experience
for music, movies, and games.
