Jongleurs Comedy Beats Winter Blues

After a decade, Jongleurs has returned to the same team that founded and built
the brand that made it such a huge success in the first place. Jongleurs new
clubs will be better than before, providing the highest quality of entertainment
and value for client`s money.

Jongleurs will also now employ the synergy of using both its venues and media
savvy expertise to take the brand to the next level.

Maria Kempinska and John Davy (MK & JD) built Jongleurs comedy clubs into the
world`s largest comedy chain. Founded in 1983 Jongleurs became a global brand.

During the period 1983 - 2000, when both the clubs and the digital rights were
under the same ownership, the pair produced over 70 Jongleurs branded television
shows. They also made and distributed over 1000 comedy clips to web and mobile
networks. The value of the media content produced greatly enhancing the brand
value and image.

MK & JD sold the Jongleurs branded clubs to Regent Inns PLC in August 2000.
Regent Inns purchased a perpetual licence to own and operate these 8 clubs.

However, all of the Intellectual Property rights of Jongleurs, media rights and
internet rights of the Jongleurs brand remained in the ownership of MK & JD.
Regent Inns expanded the group to 15 clubs during the period of 2000 - 2009.

On October 21st 2009 Regent Inns PLC went into administration.

The effect of this administration is that all of the previously sold
intellectual property has been returned to MK & JD. Now for the first time in
almost 10 years, all of the rights are held under the same ownership.

Maria Kempinska and John Davy are now planning to build a new chain of Jongleurs
comedy clubs.

Piccadilly
Notting Hill
Birmingham
Leeds

All of these venues will have mega roll out in the New Year along with the
