CARY, N.C.--(Business Wire)--
SAS, the leader in business analytics software and services, has filed a lawsuit
in the High Court in London against World Programming Ltd for breach of license
and copyright infringement relating to the use of SAS® Learning Edition to
develop and test its World Programming System software.

"The lawsuit alleges that World Programming has used the SAS Learning Edition
product for purposes of developing, testing and benchmarking its World
Programming System software in breach of the terms of the SAS Learning Edition
Licensing Agreement," said John Boswell, Vice President and General Counsel at
SAS.

SAS seeks damages and injunctive relief to restrain the unauthorized use of its
SAS Learning Edition by World Programming and to prevent the sale and
distribution of World Programming System software that has been developed and
tested using SAS Learning Edition in violation of its license.
