VODone's New 'LotteryView' On-streaming, Taking Market Edge by Integrating
With MSN's Chinese User Application

HONG KONG, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- VODone Limited ("VODone"
or the "Company"; stock code: 0082.HK), a leading Chinese new media operator,
is pleased to announce its upgraded mobile lottery operation platform
"LotteryView" has been on-streaming, advancing into the domestic lottery buyer
market with a new face. "LotteryView" is built by VODone as a professional
public welfare media platform and a support platform for collecting bets via
phone. The new "LotteryView" has been improved substantially, expanding from
one category to almost the entire lottery family in China, including the
Welfare Lottery and Sports Lottery. Also, it was recently integrated into
Windows Live Messenger, MSN's China user application. A vast and stable user
base and enormous market opportunity are expected for VODone, thus
contributing more to China's public welfare cause.
Performance has been outstanding since VODone initiated the lottery
purchase via mobile phone in late April and the Constant Lottery, a high
frequency lottery service, in July 2009. The registered users have soared to
over three million. Through the vast distribution network of Dragon Joyce (a
subsidiary of VODone), covering over 300 mobile phone developers and
manufacturers where games are distributed to over 1.2 million new mobile phone
users every month, VODone is better positioned in both game and lottery
markets via mobile phones and the internet. Presently, Dragon Joyce Group has
about seven million active consumer accounts. Integrated with MSN's Chinese
user application, Windows Live Messenger, the 30 million active MSN users will
also become a direct user group of "LotteryView" for the first time.
The launch of the new "LotteryView" has helped upgrade the vertical
channel into an interactive community for 100 million lottery buyers in China.
"LotteryView" covers Double Colour Balls, 3D, Seven Lottery, Super Lottery,
Array 3, Array 5, Seven Stars, 5 of 22, 7 of 31 and others, almost all types
of welfare, sport and high frequency lotteries. The website m.caishijie.com
for mobile phone lottery purchases was also launched on the same day.
According to an authoritative source of data, the sales income from
lotteries (welfare and sport) for 2008 in mainland China was RMB106 billion,
including RMB60.4 billion from Welfare and RMB45.6 billion from the Sports
Lottery. As of 31 October 2009, RMB52.802 billion from the computer-based
Welfare Lottery was sold, raising RMB18.481 billion for China's welfare fund.
During the 11th National Games alone, over RMB2.4 billion from sports-based
lotteries was sold. The sport and welfare lotteries take up a huge market
share and pose enormous growth potentials. As China accumulates wealth and
uplifts living standards, the lottery is no longer a game for low income
groups, but has become a leisure and entertainment lifestyle for white collars
in cities. It is not only a measure for economic growth, but an important
means to enrich life and raise funds for public welfare.
"LotteryView" is the first all-round lottery buyer club and life zone
based on mobile phones, internet video broadcasting and other new media
technologies. It incorporates real time video sharing, expert advice, safe
and reliable internet broadcasting for lottery drawing, blogs, forums, virtual
communities, on-line and off-line buyer activities, public welfare activities
and convenient lottery purchases, combining news, knowledge, leisure,
entertainment, communications and public welfare into one.
According to Dr. Zhang Lijun, Chairman of VODone, "The launch of the new
"LotteryView" and website for mobile phones, m.caishijie.com, provides a more
convenient experience for Chinese lottery buyers to watch lottery draws,
enjoy,
purchases and discuss about the lottery. "LotteryView" is not only a
spiritual home for Chinese lottery buyers, but also acts as the new engine for
growth of VODone."
