Newpoint Technologies Establishes Local Presence in Central and South America

COLUMBIA, Md., Nov. 12, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Integral Systems, Inc.
(Nasdaq:ISYS) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Newpoint
Technologies (www.newpointtech.com) is expanding its operations in Latin America
and has hired Mr. Luiz Barbosa. Barbosa will assume local sales and marketing
responsibilities in Central and South America, and will be responsible for
expanding Newpoint Technologies' customer base in IT and network management
systems. He will also manage the company's portfolio of clients in the region,
including Enlaces Integra, TV Globo, and Anditel.
A native of Brazil, Barbosa holds degrees in naval and offshore engineering,
oceanic engineering, and information technology. He joins Newpoint Technologies
from Sys Technologies, Inc., where he was a territory manager for South America,
responsible for shaping the company's globalization plan in the region. Barbosa
brings more than 10 years of regional business development experience in the
technology industry.
