LCG Promotes One to SVP, Two to VP

ATLANTA, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- LCG Associates, Inc., an institutional investment consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta, promoted David R. Emerson, CFA, CAIA to Senior Vice President. He will also become a Principal of the Firm. Additionally, LCG has promoted Lauren M. Cangelosi and Adam J. Laubacker, CAIA to Vice President. All three employees are based out of the Atlanta office. Emerson has thirteen years of industry experience. In addition to lead consulting responsibilities, Emerson conducts capital market and asset class research, investment manager due-diligence, and special topical studies. He also serves on LCG's team focused on Nuclear Decommissioning Trusts. Prior to joining LCG, Emerson worked in a variety of roles from manager research to consultant in the investment consulting industry. Emerson is a CFA and CAIA charterholder as well as active member of the CFA Institute and Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts. He holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland and an A.B. in Political Science from the University of Michigan. Cangelosi has eight years of industry experience. She is responsible for managing and coordinating corporate communications, marketing, and new business development efforts. She began her career at LCG as a Marketing Analyst. Cangelosi is also pursuing her MBA at the University of Georgia's Evening Program in Buckhead. She graduated cum laude from Saint Mary's College with a B.B.A. in Finance and Marketing. Laubacker has nine years of industry experience. His responsibilities include investment strategy development, manager due-diligence, special research projects, and providing investment advice to clients. He began his career at LCG as an Investment Analyst. Laubacker is a CAIA charterholder. He earned a B.B.A. in Finance at the University of Notre Dame, where he made the Dean's List multiple times.
