VALHALLA, N.Y.--(Business Wire)-- FUJIFILM U.S.A., Inc. presented a check for $25,000 to Corporal Visnu Gonzalez as part of its new sponsorship of Homes For Our Troops (www.HomesForOurTroops.org), a national non-profit organization that builds barrier-free specially adapted homes for severely injured veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The houses built by Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) allow veterans suffering from paralysis and double amputations to maintain independence, comfort and safety at home. On Tuesday HFOT presented Cpl. Gonzalez with the keys for a new Hillsdale, NJ home, and yesterday Fujifilm SeeHere.com held a "housewarming party" along the New York City Veterans Day parade route to honor Cpl. Gonzalez, his friends, family and the volunteers involved in building his new house. SeeHere.com`s surprise gift of $25,000 will help to furnish the home. As part of the sponsorship, SeeHere.com - Fujifilm`s online photo printing, sharing, storage and gifting website - is committed to generating awareness for the cause and providing a way for customers to help through its "Home of the Free" campaign. SeeHere.com will donate a portion of proceeds from the sale of all travel mugs, tote bags and hooded sweatshirts, including those specially designed with the HFOT logo, to the organization.
