California Assemblymember Bob Blumenfield, 40th District, Congratulates ICDC
College's November Graduates

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Over 1,300 attended ICDC
College's November graduation celebration held on Saturday, November 7, 2009
at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, CA. ICDC College's guest speakers
included a number of outstanding community leaders committed to providing
quality education and training throughout greater Los Angeles, including: Bob
Blumenfield, Assemblymember, San Fernando Valley 40th District; Dr. Celia
Ayala, Chief Operating Officer, Los Angeles Universal Pre-School; Honorable
Joel Estrada, Trustee, Compton Unified School District; and the Honorable
Mayor Mario Gomez of Huntington Park, CA.

Lori Said, a 2007 graduate of ICDC College's Alcohol and Drug Counseling
program also addressed the graduates with a stirring speech of how ICDC
College literally changed her life from a former addict with nine felony
convictions and four pending to a state certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
Ms. Said told the captivated crowd that she walked into ICDC's Los Angeles
main campus with the only introduction she could carry: her own 67 page wrap
sheet. Ms. Said decided to turn to ICDC College for a viable career option
that would work for someone like her with a troubled past. Ms. Said told
fellow alumni that prior to coming to ICDC College she was virtually
unemployable, but let them know that ICDC College's mantra, "We Change
People's Lives" holds true. She said, "If I could do it, so can you." Ms.
Said was able to secure employment through ICDC College's externship and job
placement program and is now an Assistant Program Director and Alcohol and
Drug Counselor at Now and Forever Foundation, a facility that serves the needs
of Southern California's North Hills community. Ms. Said also employs ICDC
College graduates and supervises ICDC's Alcohol and Drug Counseling interns.

David Hall, Regional Director of ICDC College, states, "This November's
graduation once again celebrated the commitment, determination and
achievements of our students to improve their lives through our career
training programs. For over 14 years, ICDC College has been on the cutting
edge of career training programs to equip students with the fundamental
'job-oriented' skills necessary to help them become successfully employed upon
course completion. This year's graduates continue to represent the
cross-section of adults from various academic, ethnic and cultural
backgrounds, which reflect the diverse demographics of California citizens."
