Comcast `Sweeps` November with Full Line-Up of Hot Primetime Shows Available On Demand

Primetime Hits The Good Wife, Two and a Half Men and The Closer AreAll Part of
the 250 TV Series and 1,000 Episodes Offered Anytime On Demand
PHILADELPHIA--(Business Wire)--
With the November sweeps* in full swing, Comcast offers its customers
instantaneous access to more than 1,000 episodes from 250 TV series through its
signature On Demand service. Customers have access to all of the highly
anticipated primetime shows, including The Good Wife, Two and a Half Men,
Accidentally on Purpose, Nip/Tuck, Desperate Housewives, Curb Your Enthusiasm,
Dexter, The Closer and many more whether they want to watch On Demand, live on
TV or through digital video recorders (DVRs). 

"Missed an episode of your favorite primetime show, don`t worry, chances are
we`ve got it," said Derek Harrar, Senior Vice President and General Manager of
Video and Entertainment Services for Comcast. "With hundreds of TV shows
available On Demand, our customers can watch the hottest episodes when they want
during sweeps or anytime." 

According to a recent independent nationwide survey** conducted by Comcast, 67
percent of consumers said that if they missed a TV show this fall and knew it
was available through video-on-demand, they would watch it. The survey showed 78
percent of individuals under 35, and more than 50 percent of those over 35 plan
to use On Demand, the Internet and DVRs to watch their favorite primetime
programs this fall. 

Increasingly, Comcast customers are viewing more TV shows through On Demand with
growth rates of nearly 25 percent among Comcast customers viewing fall TV series
On Demand from 2007 to 2008, and early indications for fall TV series viewing in
2009 show similar increases. In addition to movies, kids programming and music
videos, broadcast and cable TV shows perform very well on the On Demand service
with NCIS, Dexter, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Two and A Half Men, Curb Your
Enthusiasm, Sons of Anarchy, Entourage and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
coming in as popular hits in the month of October. 

Currently, Comcast`s On Demand library offers more than 17,000 choices available
anytime including more than 2,600 choices in HD available over the course of a
month. This month, Comcast On Demand is also offering its largest collection of
blockbuster movies available the same day as DVD with movies like Angels &
Demons, The Taking of Pelham 123 and Four Christmases.
