Cherokee Inc. Signs Exclusive License in the People`s Republic of China for Its Cherokee Brand

VAN NUYS, Calif.--(Business Wire)--
Cherokee Inc. (NASDAQ: CHKE), a leading licensor and global brand management
company, announced today that it has entered into an exclusive international
license agreement for its Cherokee brand with RT Mart Stores, a division of
Ruentex Industries Limited, a 45-year-old textile, retail and trading company.
The multi-year agreement covers a wide range of categories including men`s,
women`s and children`s clothing, footwear and accessories, as well as home
textiles. RT Mart is one of the leading and fastest growing retailers in China.
Operating over 125 hypermarket stores, RT Mart`s success is driven by their
focus on the regional requirements and needs of their consumers.
