Verizon to Voluntarily Withdraw Listing on The Chicago Stock Exchange

NEW YORK, Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ)
announced today that it will voluntarily withdraw its common stock from
listing on The Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) effective December 15, 2009. 
Verizon securities will continue to be listed on The New York Stock Exchange.
