Xanodyne Expands U.S. Sales Force and Launches Zipsor(TM) (diclofenac
potassium) Liquid Filled Capsules

NEWPORT, Ky., Nov. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Xanodyne Pharmaceuticals, Inc., an
integrated specialty pharmaceutical company with both development and
commercial capabilities focused on women's healthcare and pain management,
announced today that the U.S. launch of Zipsor(TM) (diclofenac potassium)
Liquid Filled Capsules, is now underway and being supported by an expanded
250-member specialty sales force.

In June 2009, Xanodyne received Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval
for Zipsor, a new treatment option for relief of mild to moderate acute pain
in adults (18 years of age or older). With the national launch of Zipsor,
Xanodyne has now successfully executed on two key elements of its business
model - R&D and commercialization.
