SHANGHAI Nov 12 (Reuters) - Nissan Motor's (7201.T) results are improving, said Carlos Ghosn, the carmaker's chief executive, adding that he hoped the momentum would continue into next year.

"Our results are improving. Hopefully the momentum will continue into 2010," Ghosn, also CEO of Renault SA (RENA.PA), told Reuters on the sidelines of an industry forum in Shanghai on Thursday.

Japan's third-biggest automaker last week revised its annual outlook for the year to next March to an operating profit from a loss as soaring sales in China helped to improve its quarterly earnings beyond expectations. [ID:nT127974] (Reporting by Fang Yan and Edmund Klamann)
