Russia's Medvedev vows to ease access to elections

MOSCOW Nov 12 (Reuters) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Thursday promised to cancel requirements on political parties to collect signatures to register for elections.

"In future we must get rid of the requirement for parties to collect signatures to secure access to elections," Medvedev said. (Writing by Conor Humphries; Editing by Guy Faulconbridge)
