Russia's Medvedev vows to up fight in N.Caucasus

MOSCOW Nov 12 (Reuters) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev vowed on Thursday to fight international terrorism in the North Caucasus, but criticized what he said was an unprecedented level of corruption in the area.

Medvedev, speaking in his annual state of the nation speech, said state funds were being almost openly stolen in the region. (Reporting by Guy Faulconbridge, editing by Conor Humphries)
