German EconMin: can't give all-clear on economy yet

BERLIN Nov 13 (Reuters) - An acceleration in German economic growth in the third quarter is pleasing but it is too soon to sound the all-clear after the financial crisis, Economy Minister Rainer Bruederle said on Friday.

Official figures released earlier on Friday showed the German economy grew by 0.7 percent in the July-September period, accelerating from 0.4 percent in the prior quarter.

"However, given the severe financial and economic crisis, an all-clear cannot yet be given," Bruederle said in a statement.
