SEATTLE--(Business Wire)--
Stephanie Berntsen, Jennifer Campbell, David Ebel, Colin Folawn, Joaquin
Hernandez and Aaron Laing, attorneys in the Seattle office of regional law firm
Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, were named "Rising Stars" in the winter issue of
Washington Law & Politics.

To select the Rising Star attorneys each year, Washington Law & Politics polls
Washington`s "Super Lawyers" to identify up-and-coming attorneys who are 40
years old or younger or who have been practicing law for ten or fewer years.
Only the top 2.5 percent of Washington lawyers receive this distinction.

"To have so many of our younger Seattle attorneys honored is great news," said
Mark Long, managing partner at Schwabe. "The strong showing demonstrates the
expertise and dedication we have in the firm`s Puget Sound office."

Stephanie Berntsen specializes in employment and securities litigation, defense
of injury claims and commercial litigation. She works with clients to resolve
matters at trials and through arbitration.

Jennifer Campbell focuses her practice on complex litigation matters, including
professional negligence, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, product
liability and toxic torts, including benzene and asbestos claims. She is also a
member of the firm`s appellate practice.

David Ebel`s litigation practice is focused on securities, financial services
and commercial disputes. He also represents clients in liability defense cases.

Colin Folawn`s practice centers on tort litigation, appeals and maritime law. He
works with a variety of clients, including legal professionals, property owners
and developers, fishing companies, marine vessel owners, automobile dealerships,
trucking lines and retail stores.

Joaquin Hernandez focuses his practice on matters concerning government
contracts, procurement regulations, public and private development projects, and
other business-related issues for clients in the Northwest and abroad.

Aaron Laing specializes in the areas of land use and litigation. He also has
significant experience assisting property owners and developers facing a broad
range of entitlement issues such as vesting, boundary disputes, State
Environmental Policy Act mitigation, rezones and regulatory takings.
