TABLE-John Lewis weekly dept store sales up 13.2 pct

LONDON Nov 13 (Reuters) - British retailer The John Lewis Partnership [JLP.UL] on Friday gave the following sales figures for the latest week compared to a year earlier.

Week to Nov. 7 14 weeks to Nov. 7

Total sales 15.4 pct 9.5 pct

Dept stores 13.2 pct 4.8 pct

Food group 17.1 pct 12.8 pct

"It was an excellent week last week at plus 13.2 percent: our second best movement of the the half year to date. We saw double-digit advances from six out of seven days, and also across all three buying directorates," John Lewis said of the department stores outcome.
