NEW YORK Nov 16 (Reuters) - New York state's pension fund rebounded 18.3 percent to $126 billion in the first half of the current fiscal year, but still stands below the record high of $154 billion, the state comptroller's office said on Monday.

The gains were driven by strong performances in both domestic and international stocks, Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli said in a statement. (Reporting by Joan Gralla; Editing by James Dalgleish)
