LONDON Nov 16 (Reuters) - Hungarian refiner MOL Group MOLB.BU says it plans maintenance work at four refineries next year that will impact oil product output.

The work will affect gasoline and diesel output at two refineries in Croatia in the second and third quarters and at its Mantua refinery in Italy in the fourth quarter.

MOL Group plans maintenance at the gasoline unit of its Hungarian Danube refinery in the third quarter.

But a spokesman said the work will not impact downstream sales.

"Due to the preliminary preparation for stockpiling, harmonised turnaround activity and common optimisation of our five refineries, turnarounds will not affect the sales activities of MOL Group," said a spokesman in the firm's refining division on Monday.

The maintenance is in addition to a full turnaround previously reported at its Slovakian Bratislava refinery in the second quarter of 2010. (Reporting by Emma Farge; editing by Keiron Henderson)
