LONDON Nov 17 (Reuters) - British mobile phone operator T-Mobile UK, part of Deutsche Telekom (DTEGn.DE), said on Tuesday that its staff sold customers' private details to other companies without their consent.

The company said it contacted Britain's privacy watchdog after employees passed the information to third parties "without our knowledge".

Information Commissioner Christopher Graham said earlier that staff at an unnamed mobile phone company had sold data for "substantial amounts of money" to brokers working for other mobile phone companies. [ID:nLH665282] (Editing by David Holmes)
