Deutsche Bank said Patrick Kaufer has joined its Debt Capital Markets group as a managing director, based in New York. Kaufer was previously at PK Advisory LLC, a structured finance advisory service firm.

Commercial lender CapitalSource Inc (CSE.N) said its founder and Chief Executive John Delaney will become executive chairman effective Jan. 1.
LAZARD LTD (LAZ.N)
Investment bank Lazard Ltd (LAZ.N) appointed Kenneth Jacobs as chief executive and chairman to succeed Bruce Wasserstein, who died last month.
CB RICHARD ELLIS GROUP INC (CBG.N)
Commercial real estate service company CB Richard Ellis Group Inc (CBG.N) appointed Paul Lloyd as head of Loan and Special Servicing to its Real Estate Finance division in London.
XCHANGING PLC (XCH.L)
Global business processor Xchanging Plc (XCH.L) appointed Paddy Byrne as head of its operations in the United Kingdom region.
NEPTUNE INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT
Fund management boutique Neptune Investment Management appointed Robert Pickering as non-executive director.
RCM
RCM, the global equity company within Allianz Global Investors, appointed Vipin Ahuja as senior research analyst to their Sustainability Research team. He will be responsible for stock picking and analysis with a focus on clean technology.
HERMES
Hermes Fund Managers Ltd, the money management arm of the BT Pension Scheme, hired a six-person team from Fortis Investments in Boston as part of its strategy to attract U.S.-based investors. Lode Devlaminck, CIO for global equities, and John Chisholm, director of marketing and client services for global equities will lead the group, which will receive a seed investment of $500 million.
