JPMorgan (JPM.N) appointed Jesper Koll, a former Merrill Lynch economist, to head its Japanese equity research division. Koll will take up the post at JPMorgan Securities Japan Co with effect from Dec. 1.
ALLIED IRISH BANKS (ALBK.I)
Allied Irish Banks (ALBK.I) board member Colm Doherty is to take over as group managing director with immediate effect, Prime Minister Brian Cowen said, confirming earlier reports.

Closed fund operator The Pearl Group PEARL.L appointed Daniel Godfrey to the new position of head of corporate communications.
