Taiwan stocks open flat after Wall St weakness
TAIPEI, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Taiwan stocks were almost flat on
Thursday as shares of major technology exporters such as Hon Hai
(2317.TW) came under pressure from losses on Wall Street.
Taiwan's main TAIEX share index .TWII edged up 0.02 percent at 7,767.98 at the open, following a 0.4 percent gain the previous day. Hon Hai shares fell 0.4 percent, while the broader electronics sub-index .TELI was up 0.1 percent. (US$1=T$32.1) (Reporting by Baker Li; Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
