NEW YORK (Reuters) - Cable television operator Cablevision Systems Corp will distribute News Corp's Fox Business Network in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, Fox said on Thursday.

The business channel, which News Corp started to compete with General Electric's CNBC, will start appearing on November 19 on channel 106 for Cablevision subscribers, Fox Business said in a statement.

Fox Business Network will be available to about 3 million Cablevision customers, a Cablevision spokesman said.

Cablevision is based on Long Island, New York, where it also owns the island's hometown daily newspaper, Newsday.
