WASHINGTON, Nov 19 (Reuters) - December temperatures will be above
normal for the U.S. Midwest, Great Lakes and western regions, the U.S.
National Weather Service forecast on Thursday.
The warmer-than-normal trend was predicted to continue through January
and February for a region stretching from Michigan southwest to Oklahoma
and west to Nevada, the NWS said.
But temperatures were forecast to be below average from Maryland south
to Florida and west to Texas, it added.
