HK shares end up 1.4 pct; China financials gain

 HONG KONG, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Hong Kong shares snapped a
four-session loss on Monday to end 1.41 percent higher, spurred
by gains in Chinese financial issues on optimism the mainland
would extend its loose monetary policy until next year.
 The benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI closed up 315.55
points at 22,771.39.
 The China Enterprises Index .HSCE of top locally listed
mainland Chinese stocks rose 2.22 percent to 13,625.06.
 China Construction Bank (0939.HK) advanced 4.08 percent and
ICBC (1398.HK) rose 3.26 percent.
