Seoul shares open up on foreign buying, KEB

SEOUL Nov 23 (Reuters) - Seoul shares rose on Monday as foreign investors continued buying into a fifth consecutive session, with KEB (004940.KS) gaining on strengthening hopes for Hana Financial's (086790.KS) interest in the bank.

The Korea Composite Stock Price Index .KS11 (KOSPI) was up 0.13 percent at 1,622.75 points as of 0005 GMT.
