SINGAPORE, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Platinum gained more than 1
percent on Monday, rising to its strongest level since
September 2008 after gold rallied to a lifetime high on firm
oil prices and worries about the economic outlook.
Spot platinum XPT= jumped to $1,464.50 an ounce, up from
$1,441 in New York on Friday. Platinum is used in autocatalysts
to clean exhaust fumes and in jewellery.
