 The finance ministry's Debt and Liquidity Management Agency
(ARDAL) will auction 231-day treasury bills.
 
 EU PROBES SLOVAKIA'S ACTION AGAINST HEALTH INSURERS
 The European Commission launched an action on Friday against
Slovakia over concerns that the country's law forbidding private
health insurers from keeping their profits might breach EU
rules.

 NEW JOBS IN EASTERN SLOVAKIA
 Economy ministry confirmed expectation of luring new
investment projects to the eastern Slovakia, including a Japan
hi-tech investor from the aviation industry, which should create

 AIR FARES FALL IN OCTOBER
 Air fares from capital Bratislava's airport fell by 20
percent, on average, in October on the year. An average price
for a ticket to London was 111 euro, compared with 132 euro last
October.
