(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 2045 GMT on Monday.

* BAGHDAD - Well known television presenter and reporter for Iraq's Diyar television station Imad al-Ibadi was shot in the head and neck in central Baghdad and is in a critical condition in hospital, police said, who had no further details.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting the convoy of former prime minister and current lawmaker and prime ministerial candidate Iyad Allawi wounded two of his office employees in central Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A bomb attached to a car wounded two people in the Iraqi capital's eastern New Baghdad district, police said.

MOSUL - Iraqi police and U.S. advisors arrested five men and shot and killed another suspected of involvement in facilitating vehicle-borne bombs in Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said in a statement.

BAGHDAD - Two civilians were wounded when a roadside bomb went off near the convoy of Jaafar al-Khafaji, the head of traffic police directorate, in Baghdad's central district of Karrada, police said.

MOSUL - Gunmen in a speeding car killed a senior Turkmen politician in front of his house on Sunday in eastern Mosul, police said.

MOSUL - A four-year-old child was killed and four people, including two policemen, wounded when a roadside bomb went off near a police patrol in central Mosul on Sunday, police said.
