U.S. consumer confidence falls in latest week -ABC

 NEW YORK, Nov 24 (Reuters) - ABC News said on Tuesday that
its weekly measure of U.S. consumer confidence fell in the
latest week.
 The ABC Consumer Comfort Index fell to -47 in the week
ended Nov. 22 from -45 the prior week.
 The index is now just 1 point above the 2009 average of
-48.
 The index hit a record low of -54 in the week to Dec. 1,
2008, and matched that record in the week to Jan. 25, 2009. It
has not seen positive ground since March 2007.

 The ABC News consumer confidence survey was based on a
sample of about 1,000 interviews conducted in the four weeks
ending Nov. 22 and has a margin of error of plus or minus 3
percentage points.
