U.S. money market fund assets up $7.3 bln-iMoneyNet
NEW YORK, Nov 25 (Reuters) - U.S. money market fund assets rose by $7.3 billion to $3.3 trillion in the week ended Nov. 24, the Money Fund Report said on Wednesday.
Taxable money market fund assets climbed $8.67 billion to $2.89 trillion, while tax-free assets were down $1.3 billion to settle at $408.2 billion, according to the report, published by iMoneyNet.
Yields on taxable money market funds slipped to a fresh record low of 0.03 percent, while tax-free and municipal fund yields edged up to 0.05 percent from a record low of 0.04 percent the previous week.
